Dripping glass........Well not exactly. This is a frame which should hopefully make you ask yourself.................What is it?
I liked this image the best from my studio assignment. It made me think and and think again of how to not only photograph a dull object, but also how to turn that dull object into a piece of art work that will make the viewer look hard at it and wonder what it is. Well that was the aim of this photograph when I took it.

The general theme of my assignment was to photograph things from my past life, so I choose certain military items which I still hold close. This SLR bayonet is the bayonet I carried when I was part of the Federation Royal Guard while I was on guard duties at Buckingham Place, Windsor Castle, the Tower of London and Saint James Palace guarding the Queen back in 1988.
My military war medals were what I chose for the 4x5 project. I shot this item vertically, utilising depth of field and camera movements to achieve the aim.
For the macro I chose my Tag watch.
This second glass item was an old crystal hand bell. I broke it on the way home after taking this image.
My personal choice photograph was to capture my old Army "Dog Tags".
